The Monark 894E Peak Bike Weight Ergometer is an attractively designed and easy-to-use bike which provides a safe means of performing anaerobic (power) and aerobic tests. The Monark 894E Peak Bike is at the heart of ergometry testing to measure peak power and the conducting of the Wingate test. The innovative weight basket and computer control electromagnetic drop load system provides a perfect environment to measure peak power.
The Monark 800 series of which is the 894E Peak Bike is part offers these features:
True cycling position
Low maintenance
Easy to control and calibrate
Built to withstand high workloads and heavy use over time
Actual cycling feeling even at high workloads, due to the solid frame and well balanced flywheel 22kg (48,5lb)
Monark 894E Peak Bike cycle ergometer for Wingate Testing
During the development of the anaerobic ergometer the focus was to create a safe bike that is easy to use, combined with an attractive design.
The result is Monark Ergomedic 894 E Peak Bike. Is the result of several generation of Wingate ergometer development. The 894E is a new bike however, still with the traditional characteristics of a Monark bike. A brand new frame with a softer design, but with improved performance regarding stability and rigidity. The Windows based software, with more setting possibilities and a clear presentation graphic, is easy to use. The dual sensors, and faster electronics and improved mechanics minimize the possibility for problems during the work with anaerobic tests. The Peak Bike also works as a regular weight ergometer.

The new Windows based software increases the setting possibilities for anearobic testing including the Wingate Test. The test time can vary in a range of 5 seconds to99 minutes, with 1 second intervals. The standardized Wingate test still is just one of the test protocols that the Monark 894E Peak Bike can deliver. The analysis features in the current software version have been further improved. Both analysis of a single test or individual- and group comparison is possible.
Electronic Instrument Panel Meter displays:
Pedal-turns per minute (RPM)
Heart rate in beats per minute (HR)
Cycling-time in minutes and seconds (TIME),
Intended cycling speed in km/miles per hour (SPEED)
Distance covered in km/miles (DISTANCE).
In addition braking power can be set, giving a reading of calorie consumption (CAL) and power in watts (WATT).
