Ultrasound imaging is clinically validated, as an accurate tool for measuring fat and muscle thickness. Until Bodymetrix pioneered the use of clinical ultrasound technology, its use was limited by the high cost of the equipment.

BodyMetrix BX200 is a complete ultrasound body composition analysis system. Included in the package is the BX2000 Ultrasound device which directly connects to a PC via a USB connection, BodyView software and supply of Ultrasound gel.

BodyMetrix's BodyView software can be used with both ultrasound wand (included in package) or skinfold calipers.
