Featuring an intelligent electrode belt which employs Tanita dual frequency BIA technology to perform measurements in under 30 seconds. This innovative analyser offers a specific mode for the measurement of visceral fat in individuals with a waist circumference greater than 130cm.

Viscan substantially reduces the risk of measurement errors compared to the traditional method of tape measurement of waist circumference. The combination of abdominal BIA and analysis of data obtained from the X-ray CT and DXA method (Double Energy X-ray Absorpitometry) allows for highly reliable statistical estimations.
