Tanita Viscan visceral & trunk fat in seconds

VISCAN by Tanita measures visceral and trunk fat in seconds .... a review.

The new machine from Tanita has caused quite a stir. Both from a scientific and a marketing point of view. By focusing on the measurement of visceral fat and trunk fat it is attempting to zoom in on the element of overfatness that appears to be most associated with poor health and well-being. While general overfatness adds general weight to an individuals bulk, making it harder for them to be comfortable, more breathless during exercise, visceral fat is associated with many different clinical conditions. This device could signal the future direction for weight management that monitoring should take.

The smart design, using laser guide waist measurement, followed by a wirelessly link BIA method, privdes a positive image of a body scan in a clinical environment, which gives the client a very keen sense of motivation that this is a measurement that needs to be taken seriously and they should act on the information it is provising them. It does inideed move body fat measurement on from being a "bit of fun" to soemthing that can lead to clinical conditions that require action.

The Tanita VISCAN is a measurement that should be considered by a whole host of health, medical and fitness professional operating weight management clinics to gyms and health clubs, the full product ddescription and specification is available at the fitnessASSIST webstore page here.

fitnessASSIST comment: "We rate this product extremely highly for the professional fitness and clinical health markets" :-)
