It is the 'go to' sub-maximal testing battery for a comprehensive range of exercise and health professionals, designed by Dr. Kevin Sykes at the University of Chester, fulfilling a fundamental aerobic capacity assessment need for the Police and Fire Service.

One of the most popular assessments is the Chester Step Test which can be conducted at a variety of step heights and caters for a broad range of fitness levels. We offer a variety of packages that include a heart rate monitor, step platform and the resource manual & software.

The added benefit of this resource is in its portability, the CD contains pdf copies of assessment sheets for each protocol and a software calculator to establish results and compare to normative data.
